The owl’s history also dates back to being associated with Christ, representative of victory, and at times melancholy. The owl is tied to being the bird of Athena (Minerva), Greek goddess of wisdom and favourite daughter of Zeus. Athena is known for her embodiment of reason, strength, and wisdom.
